Choir Competition

Okay, so everything went really well on Sunday. So well that we have just found out today that we are going through to the final! The final is going to be at beautiful Tatton Park so God help us!!! although it's in April on the 8th so we have plenty of time to practice.

I've been talking to this guy from Sandbach Boys School, he went to the competition and sang with their big band. He was really really good! It's been really interesting talking to him because he is so into the sciences as well as the arts. Its also strange because he is so like myself it's freaky! This coupled with the fact that we can talk about random things for hours and I feel like I've known him for ages and, well you get the picture!

Tuesday

Anyway, with everything thats been going on I've been feeling stressed and quite a bit down. But I'm feeling better now, with myself and the relationships with my family and friends. Yehh happy time now!

Just finished doing my first scene for my photography project! I'm actually quite proud of them! As usual I will try and put them up in my next post, and on Saturday I am hopefully going out to take a few more for various scenes. I promise I will post them all on here eventually. Now I am going to look back on everything that I have promised to post and see if I can actually complete those promises!!

Chemistry

Okay, the past few weeks has been swallowed by excessive revision for my only AS January exam- Chemistry.

Yes it's awful, yes I probably did bad and yes I can't remember half the stuff that I revised anymore.

But oh well!

Anyway onto brighter topics. Tomorrow I am heading out into the wild world to take pictures for my photography course. If the weather holds out that is. I plan to create art, lets see how successful I am lol.

On Sunday the school choirs heading to Crewe to take part in a music competition. I'm just hoping the boys remember to be considerate to us girls due to the fact of their only being Six of us... On the upside we get to go to yet another competition, they're great fun!

We got a learning records today, I was hoping to get all ones this time (Ones being the best), if I had then that meant I could go home in free periods. However I didn't, I got a 2 and a 3 from Music and French. Stupid French. No idea how I have gone from a 1 to a 3 either!!!

Anyway probably the biggest news is the fact I have dyed my hair- yes I have a very boring life okay! When I manage to get a good enough photo I might post it. As of yet they all look rubish. I will also get round to doing an outfit post of this new dress I have purchased. Meaning my mum bought for me in the sales! Christmas

Okay, so today was the day when we all went round to V's to give each other our Christmas Presents. And to be honest, I have really been looking forward to it because all of my friends have been winding me up- they know how to drive me crazy they really do. See they all knew what I had gotten because O, V and R had all chipped in to get me something.

So the time finally arrived, and I had no idea what to expect.

You'll never guess what they had gotten.

Well okay, I'll tell you.

First I was made to open A's present... and inside I found. A PANDORA CHAIN!

I know!

So I was like... what... huh???! Then it twigged what the others had gotten me.

So I hurriedly went to confirm my thoughts and I was right! They had chipped in to buy me a charm for my new bracelet! It is sooooo cute! It's a little silver hedgehog, complete with little adorable feet too!!!

I will treasure this present, and I'm going to keep building it up obviously. So, if anyone is stuck what to get me for future presents, PANDORA CHARMS!!!

The Last week.

Oh. My. God.

That was an EXTREMELY busy and exhausting week. Not to mention I think I am getting a cold- not impressed. I've been coughing for about five weeks straight I swear. I've had a sore throat all week too. It is not good.

Okay, where to start. Oh, thew Christmas concert on Tuesday. It was actually really good, I love every minute of it. Even the band acts pulled it off better than in rehearsals! The crowd reacted really well with the song I performed with Charles (American Pie), started clapping along too! I was really pleased and I am so glad that I made myself go through with it, even if my throat felt like sandpaper.

Next the Christmas party, my goodness it was extremely different from what I expected, but It was still amazingly good! We got to the bus park (A, O and me) to find that almost everyone was drunk, typical. Some people had even managed to get so drunk they were being sick, baring in mind that this was at 8:15 ish!

Anyway, we got onto the bus (finally) and the bus driver was really scary! He was shouting at all the drunk year 13s whilst driving! Me and A swore he was going to swerve as he wasn't paying full attention to the road. But still, we got there in one piece (well most of us, he chucked off two people on the way, literally at the side of the road).

Well we got there and had an amazing night, me and A got really into the music and I think we danced the most out of all of our group! And A does NOT dance. I think I enjoyed it as much as I did partly due to him. Because he was into it, I wasn't scared to get into it myself. You know, he even sang along, (I love you)!!!!!!

The next day was funny though, all the people who had been really drunk that night hadn't come in and everyone who came in were knackered. I fell asleep... hehe.

Friday we went to the church with school. The choir sang four songs, one of them being 'For The Beauty Of The Earth' from Chamber choir which means singing really high. I tell you, this week has not helped my throat at all!

Anyway, I think that's it for now. I'll do an outfit post soon of my Christmas party dress!
